TESTIMONIALS

“Your patience, guidance, and flexibility were greatly appreciated.

The girls really loved working with you and enjoyed their sessions a lot — that’s saying something, especially when we’re talking about SAT prep!”
Angela, parent

“I want to thank you a billion times for all your help.

I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you and you helped me with so many things that made high school so much better.  Everyone in any of my classes knows who you are just because I get so excited and bring up how great you are.”
Mary, student

“Samantha was encouraging and supportive in a way that was respectful, collaborative, and empowering.  She was also knowledgable and organized.

If you are considering hiring Samantha Stier to help provide guidance with college applications, I would enthusiastically encourage you to do so.  She worked with my daughter and enlisting her help was one of the best decisions we made all year.   During an early meeting they created a timeline with tasks to be done and the deadlines. Then Samantha provided support to help to stay on track and meet the goals. Once I knew that Samantha was paying attention, I was able to relax and applaud their work from the sidelines.  I’m pretty sure that things would have felt a lot more stressful at our house had we been on our own!”

My son was fortunate to have worked with Ms. Stier as a college advisor.

She helped him search for schools, hone in on a major, and craft a truly authentic, engaging essay.  Throughout the process, she respected his individuality, and was engaging and kind.  In the end, my son was not only accepted at nearly every school to which he applied (during Covid, no less!), but also received hundreds of thousands of dollars of merit scholarship.  I would highly recommend Ms. Stier.

Thank you!

After you left last week, my son told me he thinks this is going to work out (you as his tutor) because he really understood everything you were telling him and that no one had ever explained it in a way that he could understand like he did when you showed him.
